The Trinity

QUESTIONING THE UNQUESTIONABLE!

Remembering to read Hebrew from right to left, the Hebrew text for “Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God, the Lord is one”, is “שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְהוָה אֶחָד“. In English, this translates to “Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one”.

Here’s a breakdown:
  • שְׁמַע (Shema): Hear.
  • יִשְׂרָאֵל (Yisrael): Israel.
  • יְהוָה (YHWH = Yahweh): The Lord (the proper name of God).
  • אֱלֹהֵינוּ (Eloheinu): Our God.
  • אֶחָד (Echad): One.

In Hebrew, the word “Eloheinu” (אֱלֹהֵינוּ) is pluralIt literally translates to “our God(s)”. While “Elohim” (אֱלֹהִים), from which “Eloheinu” is derived, is also plural in form, it is often used in the singular to refer to the one God of Israel.

The Spirit of God first mentioned in Genesis chapter one verse 2, “And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters”, the story of creation continues to say in verse 26, “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth”, both the doctrines of The Trinity and Dominionalism, are so firmly rooted in Scripture, only the grossly ignorant, or the deceived, would dare to question these teachings with a view to dilute their impact on the human intellect!

Yet, in light of the above facts stated from the very beginning of Scripture, a so-called, or popularly thought of as being a “Christian ministry” named Life Hope and Truth, sends out a mailing on the 28th July 2025 questioning,  (please note), in the subject line quote, “Were the Apostles Trinitarians?” This “ministry” then goes on to say, “Did the apostles teach the Trinity?” by Jordan Iacobucci.

Whilst acknowledging quote, “The Trinity is one of mainstream Christianity’s fundamental doctrines. But is there any evidence for the Trinity in the Scriptures?”, the need arises to refer this “ministry”, Life Hope and Truth, to Genesis chapter one!

Who is God The Father of creation speaking to in Genesis chapter one verse 26? Can this be anyone other than The Son of God, indeed The Lamb of God slain from the foundation of the world? The Revelation 13:8.

So rooted and grounded in Scripture is the Trinity, there can be no doubt the Apostles were Trinitarian, yet this is questioned?

The prophet Joel prophecies, “And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out My Spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams. Your young men shall see visions. Joel 2:28.

Now, let’s responsibly ‘question’ The Trinity from The Holy Scriptures, beginning with establishing our Lord Jesus Christ’s divinity and Oneness with The Father! Most interestingly, you may be fascinated to know Google was consulted to assist, and AI, (artificial intelligence), gave these answers!

Where does Lord Jesus say ”Before Abraham was, I Am”?

In the Gospel of John, specifically John 8:58, Jesus says, “Before Abraham was, I am.”. This statement is a direct claim of pre-existence and is often interpreted as a declaration of his divinity. The phrase “I am” is a translation of the Greek word “ego eimi,” which is also used in the Septuagint to refer to God’s name.

How many times does the Bible refer to God as being Spirit?

In the Bible, God is referred to as Spirit numerous times, both directly and indirectly, primarily through the Holy Spirit. While the exact number varies depending on how the term “Spirit” is interpreted and whether one includes related phrases like “Spirit of God,” the term “Holy Spirit” (or its equivalent) appears around 90 times in the New Testament and the phrase “Spirit of God” is found about 100 times in the Old Testament.

Does the apostle Paul refer to the Holy Spirit as God?

Yes, the Apostle Paul does refer to the Holy Spirit as God, recognizing the Holy Spirit as the third person of The Trinity, equal in divinity with the Father and the Son. While Paul may not always use the same formulaic language as some later theological formulations, his writings demonstrate a clear understanding of the Holy Spirit’s divine nature and role.

What is the scripture that most describes our triune God?

Genesis 18–19 has been interpreted by Christians as a Trinitarian text.

What does Genesis 18:19 say?

Genesis 18:19 states: “For I have known him, (referring to Abraham), so that he will command his children and his household after him, that they keep the way of the Lord by doing righteousness and justice, so that the Lord may bring upon Abraham what he has promised him.”

In essence, God chose Abraham not only for his own sake but also to ensure that his descendants would follow God’s path of righteousness and justice, which would in turn enable God to fulfill His promises to Abraham.

This verse highlights several key aspects:

  • God’s Choice and Purpose:

God chose Abraham for a specific purpose, not just for his own benefit but also for the benefit of his descendants.

  • Passing on Faith:

God expects Abraham to actively teach his family to follow God’s ways, demonstrating righteousness and justice.

  • Fulfillment of Promises:

The verse connects Abraham’s obedience in teaching his family, to God’s faithfulness in fulfilling the promises He made to Abraham. A father’s main responsibility – Genesis 18:19 | Monergism

Seeing AI (Artificial Intelligence) connect justice and judgment with Trinitarian doctrine, there can be no doubt that deeper research of the Scriptures will certainly reveal the reality of Trinitarian Truth being closely connected to Dominion Theology! For anyone who would doubt the Trinity as being accurate teaching, (and, due to the deception Earth has suffered there are very many such people, the Jehovah’s Witnesses being one such cult that denies the Divinity of Christ our Lord as being one with The Triune Godhead), those who deny Christ or The Spirit of God as being ONE GOD, need to be reminded of Annanias and Saphira! God took the lives of both of them for lying to The Holy Ghost! Acts 5:1-11.

This passage describes the story of Ananias and Sapphira, who lied about the amount of money they received from selling a piece of property, claiming they were giving all of it to the church when they were actually keeping some back. Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, confronts them, revealing their deception and highlighting that they had lied to the Holy Spirit, not just to people. Following the link, Google reported as follows. “Ananias and Sapphira were a couple in the early Christian church who, according to the biblical book of Acts, were struck dead for lying to the Holy Spirit about the amount of money they donated after selling a piece of property. They conspired to deceive the apostles by claiming to donate the entire sum of the sale proceeds while actually holding back a portion. This act of deception, particularly lying to the apostles, was considered a lie to God and resulted in their immediate deaths”.

There cannot be any doubt concerning The Holy Spirit, that The Holy Spirit is indeed ONE with God the Father and God The Son, and any teaching attempting to dilute this “fundamental mainstream Christian doctrine”, is not of God The Spirit of Truth, but sails very close to the wind of blasphemy of The Holy Ghost”. Matthew 12:31-32, Mark 3:28-30, and Luke 12:10. In these passages, Jesus states that while all other sins and blasphemies can be forgiven, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.

The Trinitarian Thread runs throughout Scripture from Genesis to The Revelation. We have the prophecy of Messiah in Psalm 110:1 “The Lord said to my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand”. This verse is attributed to David, and is a prophetic declaration about the Messiah, according to Jewish tradition and Christian interpretations. The New Testament also references this verse, notably in Matthew 22:44Mark 12:36, and Luke 20:42-43, as a statement about Jesus’s authority and position in The Godhead.

We have our Lord Jesus Himself accepting Thomas’ worship, Thomas saying to our risen Lord, “My Lord, and my God”. John 20:28

We have The Great Commission, “go ye into all the world baptizing in the name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost” Matthew 28:19.

We have our Lord Jesus’ statements concerning The Father’s sending of The Holy Spirit of Truth, John 14:16-17, John 14:26, and John 15:26, and our risen Lord’s statement that He and The Father are One. John 10:30 and John 14:20.

We also have the final call in The Revelation connecting with Joel’s prophecy, The Spirit and the bride say come” and let all that heareth come and take of the water of life freely. The Revelation 22:17.

We may conclude this teaching from The Word as being fully intent on upholding the Doctrine of The One and only, Triune God of Israel! Moreover we may continue to expose “Life Hope and Truth”, as a false Masonic ministry speaking vanity, working against God’s truth to create discord and division, by withholding the truth, and exploiting religion for gain!

Those who have educated themselves in this matter, will not fail to see the multicoloured title, “Life Hope and Truth”, and that the voice video on The Trinity of the 28th July 2025 mailing, is indeed filled with Masonic hand signals including “the pointing of the finger”! Isaiah 58:9.

Reading The Scriptures for ourselves will reward us to learn the wonderful things of God. Telling us precisely in the preceding verses what we should do, Isaiah 58:9 and 10 continues to teach if we do these things, “Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity; And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:

We may conclude with a definite statement on Freemasonry. “The pointing of the finger”, is one of the certain signs, (usually accompanied by at least two other secret signs), that the ministry you are watching and listening to, very likely comes from the pit of deception, and we need to know more about these signs to fully develop our gift of discernment!

Exposing this is The True Church’s responsibilty, Ephesians 5:13, with plenty of material available!

The concept that “whatever makes manifest is light” is found in Ephesians 5:13 in the Bible. It is well translated in the NIV Scripture. Specifically, the verse states, “But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light,” according to the King James Version (KJV). This verse is part of a larger passage discussing the contrast between the works of darkness and the works of light.

Here are they that keep the commandments of God! Amen, Amen, and Amen!

May the Truine God, Father, Son, and Holy Ghost of New Jerusalem, even the true Israel and spiritual temple of living stones for The Living God, hear our prayer, that YHWH rules over us, and all the Earth! Amen!
